After an early breakfast, descend 610 meters into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact volcanic caldera on Earth. With its dense animal population, the crater offers one of the best chances to spot the Big Five in a single day: lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards. You’ll also see hippos, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, jackals, and an astonishing variety of birds. Today you visit Lake Manyara National Park, known for its lush groundwater forest, tree-climbing lions, and large numbers of baboons. Spot elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and a wide range of birdlife, including flamingos and pelicans around the lake’s edge. After your game drive and picnic lunch, begin your drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your incredible safari journey.
