Cancellation & Refund Policy Framework

    This framework outlines the cancellation policy tiers available on MyBlak. Each booking may have a specific policy assigned by the vendor.

    Policy Tiers

    Refund bands are non-overlapping: every point in time falls into exactly one band. Days are counted from the local start time of the experience.

    Flexible

    • 24 hours or more before start: full refund
    • Less than 24 hours before start: no refund

    Moderate

    • More than 7 days before start: full refund
    • 3 to 7 days before start: 50% refund
    • Less than 3 days before start: no refund

    Strict

    • More than 14 days before start: full refund
    • 7 to 13 days before start: 50% refund
    • Less than 7 days before start: no refund

    Non-refundable

    No refunds are issued after booking confirmation, regardless of when the cancellation is requested. This tier is only offered on bookings that clearly display the non-refundable label at checkout.

    Vendor-Specific Overrides

    Some vendors may have custom cancellation policies that override the default tiers. These will be clearly displayed during the booking process.

    Refund Calculation

    Refunds are calculated based on the booking total, less any non-refundable fees (e.g., platform service fees).
