Climb Mount Meru Premium Summit Trek 4 Days

Night 1: Miriakamba Hut (Mount Meru) – Shared mountain hut accommodation with bunk beds. Mattresses are provided. Shared bathroom facilities. Night 2: Saddle Hut (Mount Meru) – Shared mountain hut accommodation located near Little Meru. Bunk beds with mattresses. Shared bathroom facilities. Night 3: Hotel in Moshi – Comfortable hotel accommodation in a standard private room with an en-suite bathroom. Twin, double, or single room available based on booking preference.

Private road transportation from Moshi to Momella Gate (Arusha National Park) at the start of the trek. After the summit and descent, return transportation from Momella Gate back to Moshi in a comfortable safari vehicle or private transfer. All park transfers during the tour are included.

Round-trip airport transfers between Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and accommodation in Moshi. A driver will meet guests at the airport arrivals area and provide a comfortable transfer to their hotel before the trek and back to the airport after the tour.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided throughout the trek, along with drinking water while on the mountain. Meals are freshly prepared by the trekking crew and include a variety of nutritious dishes to support the climb. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice.

The trek is led by a professional, English-speaking, licensed mountain guide with extensive experience on Mount Meru. The guide is accompanied by trained porters and a cook to ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable trekking experience. Guides in other languages can be arranged upon request, subject to availability.

Day 1: Depart from Moshi and drive to Momella Gate in Arusha National Park. Complete registration and begin the trek through montane forest to Miriakamba Hut, with opportunities to spot wildlife such as giraffes, buffaloes, and monkeys. Day 2: Trek from Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut, passing through lush forest and open moorland. An optional afternoon hike to Little Meru offers spectacular views and helps with acclimatization. Day 3: Begin the summit ascent before dawn to reach Socialist Peak (4,566 m) for sunrise. Descend to Saddle Hut for a short rest, then continue to Miriakamba Hut. Day 4: Descend through the forest to Momella Gate, receive the summit certificate, and transfer back to Moshi.
