About This Tour
Discover a different side of Kenya’s wilderness with a safari that ventures beyond the famous southern parks into the rugged beauty of the north. This journey takes you to Samburu National Reserve and Ol Pejeta Conservancy, two destinations known for unique wildlife and remarkable conservation efforts. Samburu’s semi-arid landscapes, rocky outcrops, and the life-giving Ewaso Nyiro River create a stunning setting for wildlife viewing. Here you may encounter the famous Samburu Special Five: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and the elegant gerenuk. Species rarely found elsewhere in Kenya. At Ol Pejeta Conservancy, experience one of Africa’s leading conservation areas, home to the largest population of black rhinos in East Africa and the last remaining northern white rhinos. The conservancy also hosts the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, offering a rare chance to see rescued chimpanzees. Combined with sightings of elephants, lions, and other wildlife, this safari offers a unique and rewarding Kenyan adventure.
