Tabora
Tabora is a historic city in west-central Tanzania and the capital of the Tabora Region. Located about 750 km northwest of Dar es Salaam, it sits on the Central Plateau at roughly 1,200 m elevation. Once an Arab-Swahili trading post known as Kazeh, it remains an agricultural and transport hub linking the country’s interior with coastal and lake regions.
