The Ahafo Region, created in December 2018 from the Brong Ahafo Region, is a 5,193 km² administrative area in Ghana with its capital at Goaso. Located in the forest belt, it is a key agricultural and mining hub (gold, diamonds, bauxite) with a population of 564,668 (2021 census).
